Tidal Workload Automation announces its participation at Oracle OpenWorld 2018 as part of a strategic technology partnership with Oracle. As today’s leading automation platform for hybrid multi-cloud environments, Tidal is working with Oracle to help customers in their transition to the Oracle Cloud – a digital transformation journey in action.

Tidal StepUp™

Tidal Workload Automation announces the Tidal StepUp™ Program, a comprehensive services portfolio designed to help existing Tidal customers maximize the performance and value of their Tidal environment. All services are delivered by Certified Tidal Partners with support from the Tidal engineering team. It starts with a no-charge Tidal HealthCheck™ Assessment – an opportunity to assess how the Tidal deployment is performing and where customers can perform better.   Based on the learnings from the HealthCheck, customers have a range of add-on services available to them.

Barlow in EMEA

Dillon Kane Group appoints Mark Barlow as Managing Director, EMEA, for Tidal Workload Automation and other solutions. Based on London, Barlow, an experienced sales executive, is driving sales, customer, and partner relationships in the EMEA region.

McNees as CEO

Dillon Kane Group appoints Rick McNees as CEO of the Tidal Workload Automation business. McNees joins the DKG team from previous leadership positions at IBM, Platinum Technology, and Micro Focus. “Rick brings unparalleled executive leadership, a wealth of enterprise technology experience, and a passion for innovation that will drive the next wave in workload automation,” said David Dillon, Senior Managing Partner, Dillon Kane Group.

Dillon Kane Group acquires Tidal from Cisco

Seeking to hand Tidal over to an innovation company that can continue the software’s legacy of automation excellence, Cisco turned to its trusted partner, Dillon Kane Group (DKG).  DKG is a Chicago-based technology leader in digital automation with world-class expertise in big data, cloud, and IoT.  DKG acquired the Tidal platform from Cisco in November 2017, renamed it Tidal Workload Automation, and launched an exciting and aggressive innovation roadmap that DKG is calling, Everything Automation™. With more than 200 engineers building tomorrow’s technology, DKG has announced big plans for Tidal in terms of performance improvements and new game-changing features.

Cisco acquires Tidal

Cisco bought the world’s finest IT automation tool, Tidal, and renamed it Cisco Workload Automation (CWA). CWA became an important member of Cisco’s broad IT portfolio offered to enterprise customers worldwide.
